SUMMARY:History & Heritage Days at the Everglades Seafood Festival
DESCRIPTION:This year\, on History and Heritage Row in front of the Museum at Everglades City’s Annual Seafood Festival\, we will again focus on our partnership with the local indigenous tribe of Miccosukee Indians. Several artisans from the Tribe will have their clothing and jewelry creations for sale. There will also be an ongoing traditional cooking demonstration along with an alligator wrestling exhibition by our local Indigenous Alligator Wrestling Team. Collier County Museums will have an information booth with kids’ activities\, and the museum will be open for visitors to enjoy and explore the current Sharing the Path exhibit in the front gallery and our permanent exhibits (including the 1929 Harley-Davidson motorcycle) in the back.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday is the busiest and most music-packed day of the 56th Annual Everglades Seafood Festival\, drawing large crowds to Everglades City for a full day of performances\, food\, and community celebration. Presented by the Florida Stone Crabbers Association (FLSCA)\, the festival continues just outside Everglades City Hall at 102 Copeland Ave. North. \nSaturday features nonstop live music throughout the day and evening\, highlighted by national and regional acts\, along with seafood vendors\, artisan booths\, beverages\, and carnival rides.
