Everglades City and the Booster Club are gearing up for the Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade! Bring out your Christmas lights and join us for a joyful family evening. Raffle prizes, food, and Christmas cheer await. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to win a 65″ TV and much much more!!  All proceeds help our Gator athletes.

Light Parade Theme: Skunk Ape
Golf Carts: $10
Trailers, Buggies, Airboats: $20

Event Schedule:

5 pm – Food, Drinks & Raffle
5:30 pm – Tree Lighting at City Hall
6 pm – Line up behind fire station
6:45 pm – Light Parade

How long does it take to get out to the ocean from Port of the Islands

It usually takes around 45 minutes to cruise from the Port of the Islands to the ocean. The journey includes navigating through a long, no-wake zone canal, providing a delightful and unhurried ride. Bring a cover for sun protection during this slow and scenic route. About half an hour in, you’ll arrive at the expansive and naturally beautiful mangroves before reaching the open waters of the ocean.
