Inaugural Oyster Shucking Contest featuring The Jack Shealy Band.  Teams of 2 with 1 designated shucker and 1 designated shooter, will compete to see who can successfully shuck and shoot 50 oysters the fastest.

Entry fee of $100 covers both contestants and makes them eligible for cash & swag prizes!

12-1pm sign ups
1-3pm shucking and shooting
Winner & prizes announced by 4pm

*1st Prize is 50% off total entry fee
*2nd Prize is $100 HavAnnA gift card
*3rd Prize is Set of HavAnnA Cafe hats/shirts

How long does it take to get out to the ocean from Port of the Islands

It usually takes around 45 minutes to cruise from the Port of the Islands to the ocean. The journey includes navigating through a long, no-wake zone canal, providing a delightful and unhurried ride. Bring a cover for sun protection during this slow and scenic route. About half an hour in, you’ll arrive at the expansive and naturally beautiful mangroves before reaching the open waters of the ocean.
