Outdoor Resorts of Chokoloskee is located on the quaint island of Chokoloskee in the elusive Everglades National Park and Ten Thousand Islands. For lodging, we have an eight unit motel each equipped with a kitchenette, two queen beds, flat screen TV with cable, private bathroom, and back deck. We also have two bedroom/two bathroom waterfront condos that overlook Chokoloskee Bay. If you would like to bring an RV, we have a world-class, 283 site RV Resort. Each site has full hook-up (50/30amp electric, water, sewer, cable TV, and WiFi).

In addition, we have three pools with hot tubs at each area, three bathhouses, two laundry facilities, fitness center, tennis courts, shuffle board courts, and free WiFi all throughout the resort. If you would like to bring your boat with you, we have boat docks for each motel room and condo. Boat docks are available for the interior and lakefront RV sites and each waterfront RV site has a dock directly at the site.

If you want to visit with your boat for the day, we have a full service marina and ramp. If you don’t have a boat or don’t want to bring your boat, we have rental boats and canoes on the premises. In addition, we have charter captains available if you would like a native, whose families have lived here for generations, take you out on the boat for a wonderful day of fishing.

Are dogs allowed off leash in the park?

No. Dogs must always be kept on a leash when visiting Everglades National Park and surrounding park lands.

In most areas, dogs are not allowed on trails, boardwalks, or backcountry routes at all, even on a leash. Where pets are permitted (such as certain roadside or developed areas), they must be:

On a leash no longer than 6 feet
Under control at all times
Kept out of wildlife areas and water

These rules are in place to protect:

Sensitive wildlife (including birds, reptiles, and mammals)
Fragile ecosystems
Your dog’s safety (alligators, snakes, and heat are real risks here)
