Filling
- 4 cups fresh blueberries, rinsed & drained
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Topping
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Melt butter and pour into an 8-inch square baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, combine lemon juice and blueberries.
Add sugar and mix well.
Add the blueberry mixture to the baking dish.
Combine flour, sugar, vanilla, and milk in a small bowl.
Pour over the blueberry mixture and bake 45 minutes or until brown.
