Ingredients
- 1 lb blue crab claw meat
- 4 C half & half
- 1 C chopped yellow onion
- 1⁄3 C flour
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1⁄2 tbsp Old Bay
- Kosher salt and ground black pepper
- Dry cooking sherry
At A Glance
Melt butter in a 4-quart saucepan over medium heat.
Add onion and cook until softened.
Add flour and Old Bay, then continue cooking for 3 minutes.
Whisk in half and half, stirring constantly.
Add in crab meat.
Season with kosher salt, ground pepper, and a drizzle of sherry.
INSTRUCTIONS

Cook for 1-2 more minutes until soup is heated through.
Season with kosher salt, ground pepper, and a drizzle of sherry.
