CUA Annual Fee Certification

The letter below was forwarded to us after the creation of our previous issue (#455) in which the article ENP is Hiking Fees for Park Run Businesses was run.

CUA holders:
We would like to clarify information regarding the CUA annual fee for Everglades National Park. The park has no plans or intention to raise the CUA annual fee. It will remain at $850 and will not be changed to a 3% market price fee.
There will be a change for the website used to apply for the CUA, and the $850 will appear as a $300 application fee and a $550 Management Fee, but the total will remain the same for CUA applicants for Everglades and Dry Tortugas National Parks will not include any additional cost to the commercial operator for the duration of the CUA holder’s permit.  All conditions of the permit as well as reporting requirements will remain the same.
More information regarding the types of CUA Fees can be found in the Commercial Services Guide (pg. 229) which can be found here:
Sincerely,
Angel L. Colon
