Join us for the opening reception of Folklore, Fish Tales, & Family Stories: Legends of the Everglades. In collaboration with our local school, students have contributed artwork, photos, videos, stories, and more to celebrate the unique history and culture of our community. This year, they’ve been challenged to explore myths, legends, tall tales, ghost stories, and legendary acts from the Everglades, including stories of colorful characters and family members. The exhibit will also feature historical information and traditional stories to provide context for the students’ creative expressions.
