Enjoy tasty finger foods and complimentary wine along with fresh local citrus as we celebrate the birthday of county founder Barron Gift Collier. Collier’s 1921 purchase of a grapefruit
grove at Deep Lake ultimately shifted the local economy toward tourism and led to the creation of our county. That’s why we say “It all started with grapefruit.” Stop by and raise a toast to our founder. No formal attire required at this gala. Just bring a chair and don’t forget your dancing shoes.
