Collier County

by Denise Wauters

It’s one of those local perks that’s easy to miss if nobody tells you.

If you live in Collier County, you can visit the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens for free on the first Saturday of every month.

Not discounted. Not limited. Completely free.

It’s offered 12 times a year, and it covers everyone in your household. You just need to show proof of residency when you arrive.

For families especially, that adds up to a pretty easy day trip without the usual cost.

What To Know Before You Go

  • Who qualifies: Collier County residents
  • What to bring: Photo ID or proof of residency for adults
  • When: First Saturday of every month
