I had the pleasure of fishing alongside young local angler Chase Stokes and my client John Johnson in the 30th Annual RedSnook Charity Tournament.
The last of the fall fishing is proving to be a little tough as we have had some really strong NE winds to deal with.
The 7th Annual Hook’em in the Glades fishing fundraiser tournament presented by the Everglades Lions Club was a huge success!
The recreational and commercial stone crab harvest seasons started Oct. 15 and will remain open through May 1, closing May 2.
This year, we raised an unbelievable $100,000 to donate to charities, bringing our total to $265,000 in just three years!
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will accept applications for the 2025 limited harvest season of goliath grouper from October 1-15.
At the time of writing this months report we have had some really good Redfish action!
The fall Red Snapper season for private recreational anglers and state for-hire operations in the Gulf of Mexico will be open on specific weekends.
September has historically been my favorite month for catching big Snook.
