About half an hour in, you’ll arrive at the expansive and naturally beautiful mangroves before reaching the open waters of the ocean.

The Friends of the Museum of the Everglades invite the community to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with an evening of Irish food, music, and fun on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the grounds of the Museum of the Everglades in Everglades City.

Guests will enjoy traditional corned beef and cabbage served with Irish soda bread, along with beer, wine, and water, all included with admission.

The celebration will feature live music, games, and light-hearted competitions, with prizes awarded for best Irish dress, best Irish jokes, and best clean limericks. Guests are encouraged to wear green and join in the fun.
