Florida State Parks announces 2025 photo contest winners

Florida State Parks has revealed the winning images from the 2025 Capture the Real Florida Photo Contest, and the collection is stunning. Photographers from across the state sent in thousands of entries, each one capturing a moment that defines the Real Florida through its wildlife, waterways, landscapes and history.

This year’s contest featured five categories: Landscapes, Waterscapes, Wildlife, Park Adventures and Historic Encounters, a special addition marking America’s 250th anniversary. Each category awarded a Grand Prize, Runner-Up and People’s Choice winner.

Florida State Parks Director Chuck Hatcher said the photos highlight the beauty that makes our parks so treasured. He encourages everyone to get outside, explore a park, and maybe even snap a winning shot of their own.

Here are the 2025 Grand Prize winners
