Exciting things are happening with the historic Bank of the Everglades! The Everglades Society for Historic Preservation (ESHP) has chosen Classic Carpentry to take on this major restoration, and the team has put together a video to introduce themselves and share their vision for the project.

The video gives a behind-the-scenes look at the work ahead, from stabilizing the foundation to restoring original details like Dade County pine flooring and the bank’s old vault. It also highlights plans to modernize the space with hurricane-rated windows, updated utilities, and improved accessibility while preserving the building’s unique historic character.

Based in Naples, Classic Carpentry specializes in historic restoration, custom woodwork, and high-end renovations. Their previous work with the Naples Historical Society played a key role in their selection for the bank restoration.
