If you knew Pastor Bob, you almost certainly knew Millie.

For nearly 20 years, they welcomed people into Everglades Community Church, shared in the joys and sorrows of generations of local families, and became part of the rhythm of life in Everglades City.

After Pastor Bob passed away in January, Millie Wallace passed away in June. Now family, friends, and neighbors will have an opportunity to gather to celebrate her life.

Pastor Gary Haug announced that Millie’s memorial service will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, immediately following the morning worship service at Everglades Community Church in Everglades City.

Everyone who knew Millie is invited to attend as the community comes together to remember a woman who gave so much of herself to others and became part of the heart of Everglades City. She will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
