The annual Everglades City Eggstravaganza is back on Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McLeod Park on Copeland Avenue and Hibiscus Street West.

This is one of the most popular family events of the spring season in Everglades City, and this year’s event is shaping up to be a great one.

Kids will find 4,000 candy-filled eggs scattered across the park, with cash eggs mixed in for an extra surprise. A petting zoo and pony rides give the little ones something to enjoy beyond the hunt, and face painting will be on hand to add to the fun.

Families can also look forward to free food and giveaways throughout the morning. It’s the kind of event where kids leave with full baskets and big smiles, and parents get to enjoy a relaxed spring morning in the park with their neighbors.

McLeod Park is located at Copeland Avenue and Hibiscus Street West in Everglades City. The Eggstravaganza runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bring your basket and come ready for a good morning.
